Our clarinet reeds are made from selected top-notch reed wood with proof of origin. State-of-the-art machines and manufacturing processes, together with the years of experience of our foliage specialist Konrad Ossig, result in the best results. The underside is watered twice and sanded by hand. All sheets are individually ordered by him according to their quality and strength. The templates are computer-finished according to Jochen Seggelke's samples.

We recommend watering the leaves for about half a minute to try them, leaving them on a flat surface with your back down, and then blowing on them. After a while, the surfaces should be wiped off with a soft sandstone or with the help of waterproof sandpaper (grain 600-800). We recommend our sandblasted glass plate for surface treatment, which can be easily washed off and helps to achieve good results.
