Throughout more than a century of existence, the Music Teaching Society has always been aware of the need to provide teachers and students with the most suitable material that would allow the progressive musical development of students in the teaching of the Solfeo in the first place, And then in the teaching of piano and guitar.

Our solvency methodology was directed from the first moment to the drafting of the original texts necessary to cover the changes of curricula in the mentioned specialties, passing as it is known by cycles of three, four or even six courses and their coupling to the Teaching of the piano and guitar with the variables that appeared and that we mention next: beginning of the instrumental teaching after three or four courses of Solfeo; Beginning of the same after the first course of Solfeo; Beginning of the Piano or the guitar simultaneously with the first course of Solfeo.

All these changes forced a continuous modification of pedagogical approaches and the need to generate new texts for new purposes.

The Musical Didactic Society was able to respond to the challenge that was posed, advocating the preparation of original texts incorporating the modifications that appeared periodically, until completing four different series that were adapted to the new times in content and location of the same in relation to teaching instrumental..
