Collection: Flugelhorn Mouthpieces

Enhance the dark resonance, ensure fluid airflow, and achieve maximum timbral flexibility in your performances with our specialized selection of flugelhorn mouthpieces. Although the flugelhorn's tessitura matches that of the trumpet, its acoustics require a mouthpiece with an entirely different internal architecture: deep, funnel-shaped or "V" cups and wider throats that transform the air's brilliance into a round, warm, and lyrical sound. Using the right mouthpiece not only prevents the flugelhorn from losing its timbral identity and sounding like a trumpet, but it also stabilizes intonation in the low and high registers. If you're looking to buy a flugelhorn mouthpiece tailored to your needs, our specialized online store offers the most comprehensive selection.

Our catalog includes reference numbering from the leading brands in the sector (Denis Wick, Bach, Yamaha, Schilke, Curry, among others), adapted to each type of instrument and player:

• Deep V-Cups: Designed to maximize the dark, velvety resonance characteristic of jazz ballads, brass bands, and solo passages, while maintaining comfortable, fatigue-free emission.

• Variety of Shank Types: We offer mouthpieces with the three standard shank types on the market: American/small shank (the most common), large/standard shank (Bach), and French Taper shank, ensuring a perfect fit without looseness or intonation problems on any flugelhorn brand.

• Ergonomic Rims: Smooth, flat-profile rims to distribute pressure evenly on the lip, facilitating interval jumps and flexibility in delicate dynamics.

• Silver and Gold Finishes: Manufactured with a thick silver plating for a classic feel or gold plating (ideal for a warmer tactile response and for musicians with nickel or silver allergies).
